1. accessing the species descriptions by clicking on one of the taxa listed below. These are all descriptions that are available on this scratchpad site so far.
2. accessing the "panel page" for a taxon by browsing the tree on the left. Those pages provide not only the description of a species but further aggregated information from external sources. However, descriptions are only available if they have already been added to this scratchpad site, but other content might be available even if a description is missing.
